Meet the Team
Tim Walsh | Founder
Tim has been a recruiting leader for nearly 20 years. After making a career transition from marketing to recruiting in 2003, he began a run of eight consecutive years as the top-performing recruiter for a boutique search firm, placing top marketing, sales, product, analytics, and professional services talent with software, ecommerce, and marketing services firms.
Tim co-founded ConnectedSearch in 2012 and, after growing it from zero to $2 million in revenue, he sold his practice area to a large, national executive search firm. Following stints with two specialty search firms, he launched Vetted in August of 2020 with the vision of creating a more forward-thinking boutique recruitment firm, one that gives back in meaningful ways to the communities it serves, while providing best-in-niche talent acquisition services.
Tim lives in Arlington, MA, with his wife and two children. When he’s not attending one of his son’s baseball games, or daughter’s musical performances, he’s probably listening to alternative rock (Buffalo Tom, Jade Bird, HAIM, Pearl Jam, & Veruca Salt are among favorites) or sports talk radio, avidly following the exploits of the Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins and, especially, Patriots.
Megan Mooney | Managing Partner
Megan is a talent acquisition leader with robust experience crafting and implementing full-lifecycle recruitment programs for some of the top tech companies and marketing/PR agencies in the Boston area and beyond. Armed with comprehensive industry knowledge, she leverages her intuitive listening skills and advanced ability to understand complex client needs and assess candidate capabilities to make ideal candidate-employer matches.
Megan takes a human-centered, empathetic approach to recruitment and finds fulfillment in connecting people with opportunities that help them reach their full career potential. She holds a BA in International Relations from Roger Williams University and a MA in Human Rights from University College London, one of the world’s top universities. When she’s not helping her clients hire top Marketing, PR, and Creative pros, you can find her rollerblading, learning the bass guitar, and working towards her goal of visiting 100 countries by age 35.
